Empowering
children
& Families
Overcoming challenges within child development can feel like an impossible leap.
That’s why we are building bridges.
Feeding Therapy
Taking a Different Approach
Whether it’s “picky eating” or more critical feeding issues, these problems don’t occur in a bubble - they impact the whole family dynamic. We believe that by caring for the family as a whole through connection and providing evidence-based services, we can help empower parents and children to work through stressful mealtimes. We provide a whole person approach through assessing sensory needs, oral motor skills, developmental milestones, emotional regulation needs, and more.
Sensory Processing
If you suspect your child may be struggling at home or in school because of sensory processing difficulties, we can evaluate and treat his/her symptoms. Having a clear picture of how he/she senses the world will help you respond effectively to your child’s learning style and sensory needs.
Emotional Regulation
Managing Big Feelings
Research suggests that there is a direct relationship between our overall quality of life as an adult and our emotional regulation in childhood.
At Building Bridges, we center our regulation program around your child’s specific needs, and incorporate programs such as Zones of Regulation, Safe and Sound Protocol, and Social Thinking.

What we provide
Add a short description of the business and the services that they provide.
Assessment and consultation
At Building Bridges, we offer a free 15-minute consultation to determine if services are appropriate. From there, an evaluation will be scheduled to more closely assess your child’s needs.
Treatment Planning
We create treatment goals in collaboration with you and your children. The plan is written with your child’s strengths and interests in mind, and is designed to meet your child where he/she is at during each session.
Family Wellness and Community Supports
In the same way that our children’s struggles don’t occur in a bubble, neither does healing. Taking a holistic approach includes collaborative effort with your family and the community - school, daycare, medical providers, etc.
Our track record
Allie does such a great job! She took the stress out of meal times with my littles and was able to offer ideas while also being maleable with our needs as a family!
Sydney Dinicola
We began occupational therapy nervous for the process but hopeful for the outcome. We need not have worried; Allie is an exceptional therapist. She carefully considered our son’s needs and temperament as well as the goals we all hoped to achieve.
